The mission of the Friends of Lake Forest Parks & Recreation Foundation is to facilitate the growth, development and improvement of the Lake Forest Parks and Recreation facilities and offerings to the community.

  • TREE LIGHTING HOLIDAY CELEBRATION

    Friday, November 29, 2024, 3:00-6:00pm

    The 40th Annual Lake Forest Tree Lighting Holiday Celebration returns to historic Market Square on Friday, November 29. Enjoy an afternoon and evening of live music, kids' activities, food and beverages, carolers, Lake Forest Dance Academy dancers, Santa Claus, and more at this beloved Lake Forest tradition.

  • FRED JACKSON GOLF CLASSIC

    Save the Date! Friday, June 6, 2025

    Join us for the 24th Anniversary of The Fred Jackson Golf Classic! This is one of the Friends of Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Foundation's largest fundraisers. This fun-filled event features 18 holes plus a cart, lunch and beverages, awards, and Mayor's Cup. Open to the public.
